BioConnect Ireland was founded to promote forward-thinking interaction and exchange between all the stakeholders in academia, industry, government agencies, trade, professional services and financial organisations. BioConnect Ireland runs a number of networking events each year which are designed to inform the participants, and to create opportunities to meet.v

Each BioConnect Ireland event consists of: 

1. Presentations by experts on themes relevant to the Lifesciences Sector in Ireland.

2. 'Open Mike' (3 minute) presentations for organisations and individuals
to introduce themselves, their projects and their partnering needs.

3. Audience Q&A and Panel Discussion

4. Informal networking reception
