Research Prioritisation - Consequences of the Life Sciences Industry


Over 130 people attended this event on 31st May in the TCD Biomedical Sciences Institute.  The event had a number of elements; A showcase of Trinity College Dublin’s Biomedical Sciences Institute, its research capability and facilities.  An Open Mike session where individuals introduced themselves to the BioConnect Ireland Network and a lively debate on the Research Prioritisation Exercise and its consequences for the Lifesciences Industry.   The presentations from the day are available below. 


Panel Discussion

Maurice Roche, Delta Partners, and member of the Research Prioritisation Project Steering Group outlined the purpose and outcome of the Research Prioritisation Exercise. Presentation >> . This was followed by a lively discussion with a panel which included Enda Connolly, CEO of the Health Research Board; Matt Moran, Director of PharmaChemical Ireland; and Dr Stephen Simpson, Director, Lifesciences, Science Foundation Ireland.
