170 jobs to be lost at Brinny plant
170 workers are to lose their jobs at the Schering-Plough pharmaceutical plant at Brinny, near Innishannon, in west Cork.
The company, which employs more than 900 people in Cork, made the announcement at a meeting with workers today (January 7).
